Our Host Employer is a well-established educational institution located on the Central Coast, known for its use of cutting‑edge technology and a strong culture of learning and development. With over 150 staff and a dedicated IT department, they are now seeking a motivated Trainee IT Help Desk Support Officer to join their friendly and professional team.
This is an incredible opportunity to gain experience supporting a large user base in a dynamic school environment while developing your skills across a broad range of IT tools and systems.

* A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* A National Police Check
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
Working full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
* Providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to over 1,000 users
* Supporting hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, projectors and phones
* Logging and resolving help desk requests from staff, students, and parents
* Supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
* Assisting with student laptop program repairs and audits
* Helping manage user accounts and device setup
* Assisting with the rollout of new devices and maintaining IT asset records
* Supporting mobile devices including Apple iOS and Android phones and tablets
* Liaising with vendors for hardware repairs
* Participating in regular mentoring and skill‑building sessions
As part of this traineeship, you will be PAID to study a Certificate IV in Information Technology through on‑the‑job training over a period of 24 months.
