Group Category Manager – Technology & Gaming
This senior, enterprise‐wide role provides strategic leadership and commercial direction across Technology and Gaming categories, supporting Crown's three Australian resorts in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. The Group Category Manager shapes long‐term category strategy and drives end‐to‐end procurement execution, balancing national scale with local operational requirements. Working closely with senior stakeholders and Category Leads, the manager ensures procurement strategies deliver sustainable cost savings, strong supplier performance, innovation and effective risk management aligned to Crown's business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute Technology & Gaming category strategies and procurement plans aligned to business needs.
* Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to optimise cost, quality, delivery and technology standards.
* Deliver multi‐year savings and cost avoidance targets that generate value for Business Unit P&Ls.
* Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships, contracts and supplier risk.
* Partner with internal stakeholders and site purchasing teams to deliver consistent procurement outcomes.

This role suits an experienced, commercially focused procurement leader with strong category expertise and the confidence to operate in complex, fast‐paced environments. You bring a strategic mindset, strong influencing capability and a track record of delivering value through disciplined sourcing and stakeholder collaboration. You are comfortable engaging senior leaders, working across technical and operational domains, and driving outcomes that balance commercial, governance and risk considerations.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance or a related discipline.
* Experience in Category Management and strategic sourcing, ideally within Technology and/or Gaming environments.
* Proven track record of delivering sustained cost savings and value‐creation initiatives.
* Highly developed influencing, negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
