We specialize in Retail and Commercial mid-high-end projects.We are seeking a well experienced Painting Trades Worker who has the following attributes.
You must also be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be responsible.
You need to be willing to work in either a team environment or in an autonomous position depending on project requirements.There is also the possibility of an apprenticeship for the right candidate(s).
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000What we offer:Fantastic work life balanceGreat hourly rate based on your experienceThe RolesKey responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Erect scaffolding and ladders safely, and place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering.Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning, and applying primers.Select and prepare paints to required colours by mixing pigments, oils, thinners, and drying additives.Apply paints, varnishes, and stains using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.Hang wallpaper, ensuring pattern matching and trimming edges neatly.Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.May repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames as required.The position(s) Require(s)The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment.Minimum 1 year of relevant painting experienceAbility to read plansReliable & hard-working team playerWilling to take directions from project managerUse logic and reasoning to solve problemsThe candidate must also have strong communication skills, show attention to detail, and be well presented and punctual.
