Job Description
Alzheimer's WA is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team. The focus of this role is to raise awareness of and position Alzheimer's WA as the key organisation supporting, educating and advocating for people living with dementia, their carers and families.
The Marketing Manager will deliver on annual communication, marketing and stakeholder plans that drive profile, profit and engagement. This includes developing, managing and implementing strategies in consultation with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing the business plan to execute growth and development in line with Alzheimer's WA's strategic plan
* Ensuring the Department's commitment and adherence to Alzheimer's WA's person-centred philosophy and practice in dementia care
* Managing Alzheimer's WA's media exposure including the development and management of media strategies
* Identifying and developing opportunities for building public awareness through print and electronic media
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the CEO to achieve these goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Knowledge of current marketing and/or public relations practices and experience in managing media relations
* Proven skills in revenue growth that meets or exceeds fundraising targets, experience with corporate partnership, trusts and foundations, major donor, bequest and high net worth programs
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to present and manage stakeholder relationships
* Membership or eligibility for membership to the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and a firm understanding of best practice principles and relevant tertiary qualification in Communications or similar
