We're seeking a talented and motivated Warehouse Manager/Supervisor to join a company that values its employees and leadership team. Manage the Melbourne Warehouse and Yard.

The Role
As the Warehouse Manager for the Melbourne Branch, you will manage a small team and ensure all warehouse functions are completed on time. As a vital member of the leadership team, you will report to a collaborative and supportive Branch Manager and GM. In addition, you will:
* Lead a team of dedicated warehouse staff, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure a motivated and productive workforce
* Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving and dispatch, entering data into the logistics and WMS software, overseeing order fulfilment, assembly area, and shipping.
* Plan and prepare orders for shipment to ensure customer demands are met on time.
* Develop and implement effective warehouse strategies and procedures to optimise productivity, minimise errors, and reduce costs and wast.e
* Ensure warehouse targets and KPI's are met by working across all areas of the warehouse
* Work with the team to achieve company objectives.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety awareness among team members
* Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, procurement, logistics, and customer service, to improve overall operational efficiency
* Utilise warehouse management systems and other tools to track inventory and generate accurate reports for management review
* Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance warehouse processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
* Previous experience in warehouse management or supervisor experience with a track record of success in overseeing all warehouse operations
* Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software tools
* Sound knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
* Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Current Forklift license
