We're looking for a reliable, creative, and organised person to support our business with marketing, customer communication, and event‑related admin. While much of the work can be done remotely, the role includes in‑person tasks on the Central Coast and surrounding areas, so applicants must be able to attend location when required.
Because our events are seasonal, this is an ABN contract position with variable hours throughout the year. You invoice us for the hours worked. Approx. 10–20 hours per week during active event periods.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Content
* Edit and prepare event photos and email for customer delivery
* Send event photos to customers promptly after each event
* Manage social media updates, engagement, and content scheduling
* Keep the website updated with upcoming events and announcements
* Create simple promotional materials such as flyers
Customer Communication
* Notify customers of upcoming events in their area (email, SMS, or phone)
* Make outbound calls to customers when required
* Assist with basic customer enquiries
Local Promotion & On‑Site Tasks
* Print and distribute flyers
* Assist with occasional in‑person tasks related to events
* Serve as a backup event assistant if regular event staff are unavailable due to illness or other circumstances
Admin & Coordination
* Maintain event schedules, customer lists, and communication logs
* Support general administrative tasks related to events and marketing
* Coordinate timelines to ensure tasks are completed promptly after each event
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Photo editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, or similar)
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Attention to detail IS A MUST
* Comfortable making phone calls to customers
* Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
* Ability to update websites (basic CMS experience is a plus – we use Godaddy)
* Highly organised and able to work independently
* Access to a computer, phone, and printer
* Ability to attend events and complete in‑person tasks across the Central Coast and surrounding areas
CONTRACT DETAILS
* Workload varies depending on event schedule
* Paid hourly – you invoice us for the hours worked
* Flexible hours, but some tasks require quick turnaround after events
* Includes occasional in‑person work and potential event backup support
