About the Opportunity
We're looking for a hands‐on HR Business Partner to join our People & Talent team – someone who can manage day‐to‐day HR operations, provide practical guidance to managers, and support employee relations and compliance across all our venues.
* Provide timely advice and support across all HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, current legislation, and awards
* Manage policies, procedures, and practices
* Ensure compliance with legislation along with best practice
* Coordinate with immigration agents on sponsorship applications and visa compliance
The Ideal Candidate Must Have
Ideally you will have a strong generalist background in human resources preferably within a hospitality, retail or fast‐paced environment. You will also have the ability to deliver best‐in‐class HR practices that support our people and our culture.
* Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, other employment legislation and experience in interpreting Awards, agreements, policies and procedures
* Demonstrated ability to guide, coach and influence management and crew to ensure the achievement of HR and business objectives
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in a simplified way
* High‐level problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
* Proven ability in building effective relationships
* Experience using Deputy (or similar time and attendance system)
* Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management
