Job Title: Network Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Network Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance and uplift of our network infrastructure, systems and designs in a period of technological change.
You will contribute to incident and request management, proactive network monitoring and contributing to network security. You will utilise your knowledge and experience to assist us in driving network stability, support and opportunities to improve.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in ICT networks, with a focus on complex network engineering work. They will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
We are looking for someone who is adept at developing structured procedures and conducting routine hardware/software installations and de-installations in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will also have experience with gateway technologies, including remote access, and proxies.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of network problems and provide advice on preventative strategies.
* Under broad direction to perform and achieve complex network engineering work.
* Work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes of their work.
* Highlight perceived security risks to managers.
* Identify areas of risk and review the adequacy and effectiveness of our approach to risk in the use of ICT and offer appropriate suggestions to address the risk.
* Exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures.
* Produce concise technical systems documentation and knowledge artefacts supporting design and operational continuity.
* Liaise with internal and external agencies, including providers in relation to the design, delivery and support of network communications infrastructure.
* Assist in the maintenance of customer satisfaction and good relationships with providers.
* Input on system availability, capacity planning, usability and performance management
* Input on technical roadmaps and service improvement activities
* Advise on best practice implementation and security compliance of the Network Infrastructure
Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
* Minimum CCNA certified, CCNP and/or CCIE desirable.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to contribute to projects and initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Experience in the design, maintenance, and implementation of complex ICT networks, with a strong track record across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
* Demonstrated experience with gateway technologies, including remote access, and proxies.
* Demonstrated experience with Cisco switches, ISE and ASA's and Fortinet products
* Experienced in end-to-end configuration of routing, switching, and secure tunnelling within large-scale networks.
* Demonstrated experience in Azure networking services and hybrid cloud network development, integrating virtual and physical network components for seamless connectivity and scalability.
* Must be eligible to obtain a baseline clearance.
