Therapist Role
We are seeking an experienced therapist to provide trauma-informed clinical practice to individuals affected by sexual assault. The role involves delivering therapeutic services, community education, and capacity-building programs across North and North West Tasmania.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of Tasmanian legislation and policies on sexual assault, child protection, and family violence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality therapeutic services to individuals affected by sexual assault
* Develop and deliver training programs for diverse groups
* Work collaboratively with local communities and lived experience groups
Requirements:
* Minimum bachelor's degree in counselling, social work, or psychology
* Experience working with children and young people who have exhibited harmful sexual behaviour
* Strong knowledge of relevant laws and policies
