About the Role
Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic SMS Business and Reporting Specialist to support the effective delivery of reporting strategy and automation for the new Student Management System (SMS). This is a great opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, drive operational improvements, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the reporting work stream deliverables for the SMS implementation project
Develop and implement a comprehensive reporting strategy
Reconcile and catalogue all operational and management reporting requirements
Deliver detailed reporting specifications, including prototype reports and dashboards
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and test reports
Provide documentation, training, and post-go-live support
Contribute to project planning, data migration, testing, and change management
Skills and Experience Required
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, IT, or equivalent experience
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Extensive knowledge of SMS and CRM capabilities in the education sector
Proven experience in delivering complex projects on time and within budget
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
Analytical mindset with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
A National Police Check
