What we're doing

For a HR Advisor at REA Group, no two days will ever be the same. You'll be focused on a spectrum from delivering cyclical HR practices to exciting projects that impact the whole of REA. Supporting multiple leadership teams, you'll build strong relationships with people managers, advising them on people initiatives, policies, practices and how to maintain the amazing employee experience we have at REA.

You'll be a champion of REA's culture and values and expected to bring your insights and ideas to the table and influence everyday. Whether coaching people managers on how to lead their teams, facilitating team effectiveness workshops, or navigating and resolving employee relations issues in a compassionate way, you will have an opportunity to create impact across all elements of the employee lifecycle.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a track record of building strong relationships and be seen as a trusted partner working with HRBP's, wider P&C team, with people leaders and employees.- Assess and proactively anticipate people needs, and contribute to the design implementation of solutions (while keeping an eye on success metrics).- Provide advice and coaching to people managers right across the employee lifecycle.- Supports the planning and delivery of HR cyclical practices, such as the engagement survey, talent management process, the annual performance and development process, the salary and bonus review processes, and facilitate workshops where required.- Work in partnership with the HRBP's on key change initiatives such as org design activities.- Be able to prioritise like a pro There's always plenty to do so the ability to work out what's most important and manage expectations with stakeholders will be key.- Play a lead role in supporting our Product & Audience community people strategy.

Who we're looking for- Ability to adapt and thrive in an agile environment, a strong desire to learn and always looking for ways to improve our employee experience.- A couple of years in a HR Advisor or equivalent level role where you've mastered Employee Relations basics and delivered cyclical activities like performance, engagement, talent & succession and remuneration reviews.- Experience building strong coaching relationships with people leaders.- A data & insights focus - you're always thinking about the numbers and how data shows up in the employee experience.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.- A team player, who sees the value in collaboration and can work at pace to deliver high quality work.- Excellent communicator, who listens and shows curiosity.- Tertiary qualifications majoring in Human Resources or equivalent are desirable.
