**Primary objective**:
Responsible for designing, delivering and assessing within a Nationally Registered Training Organisation. As well as providing relief Supervisor coverage to various sites in Queensland, providing technical and management support to site operations.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES
- Utilising your highly advanced training capabilities, you will train employees and clients to perform all required mine site heavy duty tyre maintenance activities with a strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency as per company policies and procedures.
- Delivering training and assessment practices based on validated assessment methods and processes
- Evaluating the outcome of training sessions and analysing trends
- Overseeing and monitoring training costs against budgets, ensuring the company's resources are efficiently utilised
- Consult and communicate with other trainers, managers and leadership
- High standards of professional conduct, always aligning work with the Trainer and Assessor Code of Conduct
- Ensure the completion of scheduled and unscheduled work and liaise with the Client
- Conduct supplier audits and assess products to ensure effective delivery of service to the client.
- Take pride and ownership in delivering a high level of customer service

TECHNICAL OBJECTIVES
Training and Assessment
- Deliver training programmes, both internal and external to clients/employees in accordance with OTC strategies programmes
- Plan and prepare resources and support mechanisms for Training Programmes
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis for OTC/Clients as required
- Participate in planning, conducting and reviewing assessment practice and validation activities when required
- Meet the prescribed unit selection and assessment requirements for accredited training as determined by the relevant Training Package
- Assess learners against the relevant units of competency and determine the attainment of competence in accordance with the relevant Training Package requirements
- Critically examine the trainees' understanding and progress, making necessary adjustments to the program
- Conduct employee surveys, interviews and instruct the onboarding process
- Communicate and demonstrate the use of online needs and online resources
- Actively participate in validation activities associated with materials delivered and evidence collected
- Maintain learner records according to record keeping legislation and procedures
- Review training and assessment materials to ensure currency with industry requirements
- Update and record technical and training and assessment currency and competency logs

Site Supervisor
- Identify haul road, pit locations and operator practices that lead to reduced tyre lift and higher tyre usage and provide solutions to minimise these problems
- Conduct training with key client representatives in tyre cost reduction techniques
- Ensure tooling is calibrated by due dates, maintained and in adequate supply to safety perform the work in accordance with Otraco Best Practice's and client requirements
- Conduct supplier audits and assess products to ensure effective delivery of service to client
- Mentor and coach others to develop their capabilities
- Maintain the work environment to a safe standard and to a high level that promotes Otraco as a professional team
- Assist where required with the fitment and removal of wheel assemblies, tyres and rims in the tyre tread
- Regularly audit all equipment and consumables and verify that all consumables and equipment ordered are correctly supplied in terms of quantities and specifications
- Perform inspections and determine if components should remain in service, be scrapped or be repaired
