Title: Facilities Operations and Maintenance Manager

This project will provide the Customer's Headquarters facilities and outlying buildings with services necessary to ensure optimal performance and utilization of the facility infrastructure, including, but not limited to, Operation & Maintenance (O&M), recapitalization, renovations, design, construction, records management, repairs to correct identified deficiencies or adverse impacts to operational capabilities, and improvements leveraging innovative and technological solutions.

Who You Are: KBR is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations and Maintenance Manager to lead overall operations, maintenance, and performance of our government customer's sites. You will manage a team of specialists, focusing on operational effectiveness, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical acumen, attention to detail, and a proven ability to make decisions and meet strict deadlines.

This role involves 24x7 operation requiring on-call support. It is critical that essential systems remain operational without interruption, requiring vigilant oversight and proactive maintenance strategies. The position is located in Alice Springs, Australia, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space, with expected travel between facilities. The role is 100% onsite.

What You'll Do:

* Direct the facilities' Operations and Maintenance (O&M) including repairs, predictive and preventive maintenance of buildings/structures, ground services, engineering, central plant, fire protection/life safety, security, and custodial services.
* Develop equipment maintenance schedules; ensure testing and inspection in accordance with US Government and Host Nation codes.
* Ensure O&M of all structures and systems complies with OEM instructions and recommendations.
* Utilize industry-standard practices for predictive maintenance.
* Monitor and evaluate maintenance effectiveness, implementing modifications to reduce equipment failures and improve efficiency.
* Formulate and enforce operational and maintenance standards supporting company objectives and regulatory standards.
* Hire, train, and lead a versatile, technically skilled workforce.
* Coordinate activities to ensure smooth site operations and continuity of critical infrastructure.
* Implement work processes and data analysis to achieve reliable, cost-effective equipment performance.
* Draft reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
* Communicate effectively with diverse teams and resolve operational issues.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor contractual obligations and stay informed of regulatory changes impacting operations.

Requirements:

* Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated CI polygraph or Host Nation PV clearance.
* Minimum of five (5) years supporting projects of similar scope, size, and complexity.
* At least two (2) years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance.
* Experience prioritizing work plans and applying environmental health and safety practices.
* Experience working in 24x7 environments requiring coordination with mission operations.
* Experience operating and maintaining power generation equipment.
* Ability to read construction and equipment drawings.
* Knowledge of process improvement models (e.g., LEAN/Six Sigma, ISO 9000).
* Experience in operations management, construction/renovation projects, and large-scale facility planning.
* Proficiency in project management concepts including scheduling, scope, cost, and risk management.
