About the role
Northern Tablelands Local Land Services (LLS) have an opportunity within their leadership team for a motivated individual to make their mark. The Manager Agriculture Services will join the leadership team in driving an inclusive, collaborative culture across your direct team of staff and the broader Northern Tablelands LLS business to achieve success.
In this leadership role, you will support our people in ensuring high standards of communication, collaboration between teams, performance, program and project delivery, planning and budget management. You will lead a team providing services in Animal Biosecurity & Welfare, Sustainable Agriculture & Plant Biosecurity and Invasive Species management.
The role will support the implementation of the Local Strategic Plan, providing services to landholders across the Northern Tablelands.
We are looking for an individual who will have proven leadership and business skills and experience with the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
You will have detailed experience in managing people, programs and projects in the context of agriculture, environment and people of rural and regional NSW. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability inspire direction and purpose in the people you lead and manage.
About You
To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Degree in Agricultural, Environmental, Natural Resource Management, Business, Biosecurity and Emergency Management or related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Current NSW Driver License and the ability and willingness to travel
