We are currently seeking experienced groomers to join our team across NSW and ACT.
Job Responsibilities
* Bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, combing, and breed-specific clipping services will be provided to clients.
* A positive experience for customers and their dogs is essential.
* The grooming salon and clients will be coordinated with the Store Manager.
* Client bookings and stock management support are required.
* Local marketing opportunities and recruitment referral programs must be supported.
* A strong safety culture within the team must be promoted.
Requirements
* Professional dog grooming experience is necessary.
* A qualification in Grooming is preferred but not essential.
* Strong safety practices must be created and embedded across the salon and store.
* Good knowledge of specific breed clips is required.
* Physical fitness to lift heavy animals is essential.
* Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals is necessary.
* Advanced understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them is required.
* Flexibility and the ability to manage conflicting priorities are essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships are necessary.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
* Strong attention to detail is essential.
