Job Description:
This is a full-time, fixed term position for 30 hours per fortnight.

* The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community.
* A strong understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate, and provide for, a diverse range of abilities is required.
* Collaboration and working positively as part of a professional learning community are essential skills for this role.
* An understanding of the Catholic ethos and mission of the school is also necessary.
This role involves working closely with other teachers, staff members, and parents to achieve academic excellence and promote the growth and development of students.

Responsibilities:
* To teach Year 5 students and develop engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
* To assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
* To maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
* To participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification.
* Current registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
