About the role
We are looking for a Solutions Developer to join our engineering team. We operate under a product-led model, meaning you won't just be writing code from a spec, you will be a technical partner to our Product Managers, co-designing solutions that drive real business ROI across Australia and New Zealand.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex business needs and elegant technical implementation. You'll be encouraged to move fast, leverage AI tools to boost your velocity, and mentor others as we scale our engineering culture.
Role responsibilities
* Co-Design & Deliver: Partner with Product Managers and business Subject Matter Experts / Stakeholders to solve user problems. You'll own the end-to-end lifecycle of features, from the first prototype to post-production monitoring, including testing and quality assurance.
* Accelerate & Solve with AI: We embrace the future of coding. You'll use AI-assisted tools (like Cursor or Copilot) to reduce boilerplate and focus on high-level architecture and logic. The solutions you build will leverage Generative AI services to deliver smarter, more flexible, business solutions.
* Drive Business Value: You'll align your engineering efforts with specific KPIs, ensuring we build high-impact functionality rather than over-engineering for the sake of it.
* Cultivate a Growth Mindset: Lead by example in our review process, turning every pull request into an opportunity for collaboration, shared learning, and impeccable code quality.
* Rapid Prototyping: Help us validate ideas quickly. You'll build and iterate on prototypes to test feasibility before we commit to full-scale builds.
Your Technical Toolkit
We are looking for someone with 3+ years of professional experience delivering software at scale, specifically with:
* Backend: Strong proficiency in C# (from .NET Framework to .NET 8+).
* Frontend: Experience with modern reactive frameworks (we use Vue but React/Angular experience is welcome) and TypeScript.
* Web/API: Deep knowledge of ASP.NET and building/consuming RESTful APIs.
* Data: Experience designing and querying relational databases (specifically SQL Server).
* DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.) and a desire to automate manual workflows.
* AI Tools and Technologies: Hands-on, extensive experience using AI coding assistants and Generative AI (OpenAI or similar).
