About the Role

- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe, using kitchen utensils and equipment
- Prepare, season and cook foods such as soups, meats, vegetables and desserts
- Adjusts controls to regulate temperature of broilers, ovens and grills
- Observe and test foods tasting, smelling, and piercing with fork
- Determine how to present food
- Portions food on plates and add sauces and garnishes
- Estimate food requirements
- Ensure uniform serving sizes and quality
- Check freshness of food and ingredients
- Inspect equipment and work areas for functionality and cleanliness
- Follow kitchen safety standards

Key Selection Criteria

- At least 1 year of full time work experience
- Experience in preparing, cooking, presenting and plating food
- Able to work under pressure
