Role
Relationship Analyst – Global Wealth Team, Australia (ANZ)
The Relationship Analyst (RA) works closely with the ANZ wealth team to support and strengthen relationships with private wealth and sub‐advisory accounts. The RA engages directly with clients, provides research and market insight, and coordinates with internal stakeholders to meet client expectations.
Responsibilities
* Provide end‐to‐end support on new business opportunities and consultant rating processes, allowing Relationship Managers and Business Developers to focus on external engagement.
* Prepare and respond to external inquiries from clients and prospects on a broad range of topics, including RFPs/RFIs, products, and investment strategies.
* Request standard or customized marketing materials and prepare briefing notes for client meetings.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to shape the wealth marketing strategy, identify, generate, and disseminate relevant market content.
* Conduct competitor analysis and market mapping to support the Wealth business.
* Update and maintain the central CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and use strategy and business‐planning tools.
Qualifications
* Passion for learning about global capital markets; strong preference for knowledge of equity, fixed income, alternatives, and/or multi‐asset investment products.
* Interest in the business of investment management, strong analytical and problem‐solving orientation, and a collaborative, team‐based mindset.
* Demonstrable track record of achievement, differentiated thinking, strong work ethic, and willingness to work in a team.
* Ability to build relationships and collaborate across regional and global teams.
* Strong presentation skills and client‐facing experience.
* Additional experience: 2+ years in the asset‐management or investment industry; buy‐side experience supporting intermediary/distribution client relationships is preferred.
* Interest in applying AI and digital tools to enhance productivity and client outcomes.
* Strong academic credentials, including a Bachelor's degree (post‐graduate work or progress toward a CFA is preferred).
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
