Job Description
This role involves providing spiritual care and support to residents, their families, and staff. The successful candidate will ensure the diverse pastoral needs of our community are identified, prioritized, and responded to in a timely manner.
* Provide emotional and spiritual support to residents according to established triage priorities
* Support family members and staff with their spiritual needs as required
* Maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Key Skills and Qualifications
We seek an engaged professional who has a tertiary qualification in pastoral care, spiritual direction, counseling, or similar. This includes experience working in aged care, health care, or community care, with skills in creating meaningful rituals. Eligibility for SCA certified membership is also essential.
* Tertiary qualification in pastoral care or similar field
* Clinical Pastoral Education and/or equivalent
* Recent experience in a similar role
* Skills in preparation and facilitation of rituals
* Eligibility for SCA certified membership
