An opportunity has arisen for a manufacturing team leader to join our client's team at their Bell Bay mill. The main objective of this role is to provide outstanding support and guidance to your crew on a daily basis, ensuring that production is completed on time and in line with the daily requirements.
The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday Night shift position and is a key permanent, full time role in their business.
• Monday to Thursday nights – 9.00pm – 5.30am
• Friday night – Midnight – 6.30am
Key responsibilities include:
* Assist in the training of production personnel
* Provide general advice and service to all crew members
* Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to drive production outcomes
* Understand and implement quality control standards and conditions in line with quality procedures
* Actively promote a safety-first culture
Essential personal attributes:
* Ability to work cooperatively in a highly effective team
* Possesses a strong work ethic
* Customer focused and service oriented
* Proactive, professional and responsible
* Good communication skills
To be considered for the role it is essential that you have a driver's licence, HRWL forklift ticket and a strong mechanical aptitude. Please note that previous experience leading production teams are highly desired along with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team.
