With an ongoing focus on their transport operations capabilities and exciting opportunity is available for a Transport Operations Manager in NSW & ACT to join them.
**The role **reports to the GM of Transport and will lead the transport operations function in NSW & ACT including cross-dock across four sites in NSW. The role has full budget accountability including a fleet of 100 vehicles and drivers. This is a commercial, operational, and strategic role and will provide strong leadership, support and training to a capable and ambitious team, and will work with the GM of Transport to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to capitalise on growth opportunities for the state.
**Success profile will be an experienced leader in transport management **with a proven track record of delivering a cost effective, optimised and safety focused transport function, and a successful track record of people management and developing talent from within. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate they thrive in being in a hands-on, faced-paced, and challenging role, and have the patience, understanding and ability to lead teams through change in a transformational and high growth environment.
