The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Team Leader to help maintain our exceptional standards and deliver outstanding experiences.

The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll not only provide direction to others but also actively participate in cleaning operations. You will support the Cleaning Manager in overseeing tasks, managing a team, and ensuring the venue is spotless, safe, and professionally presented.
You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across large-scale event spaces and corporate function rooms.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise cleaning operations while performing cleaning duties yourself.
* Ensure high-quality outcomes by working alongside your team and setting the standard.
* Assist with on-shift task assignment to ensure optimal workload efficiency
* Work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
* Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients, staff, and patrons.
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have
* The legal right to live and work in Australia without restrictions.
* A valid visa that allows full-time employment - Permanent Residency, Australian Citizenship, or a visa with unrestricted work rights.
* No limitations on working hours. Must not be restricted to 24
Qualifications/Experience:
* Training in safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment (advantageous).
* Experience with ride-on powered cleaning equipment (preferred).
* Proven experience in commercial cleaning environments.
* Familiarity with industrial cleaning products and equipment.
* Experience supervising teams of staff.

* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
* Self-motivated with a desire to grow and succeed.
* Willingness to lead from the front and get hands-on with cleaning tasks.
