We are currently offering an opportunity for an experienced Machine Assistant to join our team in a permanent, full-time position on a rotating shift.
Working closely with Lead Printer and the Operations Manager, you will be required to:
* Assist with the Preparation and Operation of Flexographic Printing Press.
* Liaise with internal departments for supply of materials and ink.
* Undertake cleaning of equipment to support machine operation.
* Carry out work in accordance with company safety and quality processes and procedures
* Assisting with maintaining consumable supplies and operating equipment
* Maintain work areas following set cleaning, sanitation & housekeeping procedures
What are we looking at from you is:
* Previous experience in flexographic printing is preferred though not essential.
* Experience within the packaging industry will be highly regarded.
* Excellent communication skills and capacity to be a team player.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction
* Available for multiple shift times (Day, Afternoon & Nightshift Hours)
* Takes pride and is passionate about their work
