Cafe and Restaurant Manager – Key Duties
* overseeing daily operations of the cafe and ensuring effective service delivery
* managing staff rosters, supervision and performance
* recruiting, training and onboarding staff members
* monitoring labour costs and operational performance
* maintaining customer service standards and resolving customer issues
* managing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
* ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
* coordinating front of house and kitchen operations
* assisting with budgeting, cost control and financial reporting
* implementing and monitoring operational procedures and policies
* assisting with marketing, promotions and business development initiatives
* ensuring the venue is presented and maintained to company standards
Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months' experience in a hospitality management or supervisory role.
* Demonstrated experience managing staff, rostering and day-to-day venue operations.
* Solid customer service, leadership and communication skills.
* Experience with stock control, ordering and supplier management.
* Ability to work in a rapid-paced hospitality environment and maintain high operational standards.
