We're partnering with a highly reputable, global systems integrator delivering large‐scale communications and infrastructure solutions across mission‐critical environments.
This role suits a hands‐on Communications Engineer who enjoys seeing designs through to build, commissioning and handover — not just sitting behind a screen.
The role
* Design and implement wired and wireless communication systems delivering voice and data connectivity
* Produce detailed engineering documentation, specifications, test packs and as‐builts
* Configure, test and commission communications equipment
* Engage with vendors and internal delivery teams across engineering and projects
* Support field activities including site inspections, commissioning and troubleshooting (as required)
Technologies & exposure
* Digital and analogue radio systems (e.g. TETRA, P25, DMR)
* Wireless data networks (Wi‐Fi, LTE, 5G)
* Backhaul technologies (microwave and fibre)
* RF components (antennas, leaky feeder, combiners, filters)
* Ethernet networking fundamentals and associated systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
What we're looking for
* Degree‐qualified engineer with relevant systems delivery experience
* Practical exposure across design, implementation and commissioning
* Strong documentation and problem‐solving skills
* Background in sectors such as Telco, Mining, Utilities, Defence or Infrastructure preferred
