Training Support Officer, Clerk Grade 3/4 - Wollongong
* Play a key role behind the scenes in supporting high‑impact training that strengthens community safety across NSW
* Support quality assurance, systems and business activities that underpin compliant and well governed training across NSW State Emergency Service (SES)
* Provide practical administrative and systems support that underpins quality assurance across training activities
* Based in Wollongong - Temporary role up to 26 February 2027, with a possibility of extension
About the opportunity
The Training Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the effective operation of the NSW SES Training Directorate. In this role, you will provide high‑quality administrative, logistical and data management support to assist in the coordination, delivery and reporting of training activities across the organisation. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the smooth delivery of training programs that build the capability of our volunteers and staff.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Have experience providing a broad range of administrative and project support services.
* Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Be confident using Microsoft Office and a variety of online systems to maintain accurate records
* Be capable of managing competing priorities with attention to detail, ensuring reporting and compliance requirements are met even under time pressure
* Bring a proactive, customer focused approach to supporting internal and external stakeholders, including responding to complex or ambiguous requests and seeking clarification or escalation as required
* Experience in data integrity, interpretation and analysis would be an advantage, though not essential.
* Experience in the training or education sector is desirable, but not essential.
