Practice Nurse
Broome Medical Clinic has a position available for a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse. We are a busy General Practice with a great team working environment, offering a dynamic and rewarding role for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a General Practice setting, however we are willing to provide training for the right applicant. A strong ability to demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills is essential, as well as the capacity to work autonomously.
* Immunisations
* Audiograms
* Iron Infusions
* Chronic Disease Management
* Health Assessments & Medicals
* Recall and reminder systems
* Cold Chain Management
* Ordering medical stock and equipment
* Medical equipment maintenance
* Removal of sutures & wound care/dressings
* Infection control management
* Venepuncture (optional)
* Nebulising of patients where necessary
* Ear syringing
* Urinalysis
* Chaperone medical or gynaecological examinations as required
* Supervision of Enrolled Nurse
* Other duties as requested by Practice Manager or Doctors
Qualifications and Experience:
We require:
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent residency
* Ability to demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills
* Immunisation certificate or commencement of
* Able to work autonomously
