Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based care. Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
* Providing exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of respect and empathy within the unit
* Fostering a learning environment through clinical presentations and providing supervision and teaching to peers
* Collaborating with external partners to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Requirements
* AHPRA registration
* 3 years' experience within an acute environment
* 1-year minimum leadership or mentorship experience (desirable)
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Ability to work within a team environment
* Passion for teaching and up-skilling staff
