A fantastic opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Trade Yard Team Member to join our team at our Naracoortestore.
This is a full-time position on a 7 day rotating roster - mostly working Monday-Friday however the occasional weekend required
The Role
What you will be doing
* Physical work with some heavy lifting required
* Loading & unloading of trucks
* Stock control ensuring all deliveries are accurate and checked as per company policy
* Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their department
* Serving customers in the yard, helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service
* Picking orders to be sent out on delivery trucks
* Putting away stock, mainly timber and associated products
* Supporting with home and site deliveries
What you will bring
* Demonstrate a strong customer focus and ability to work in a team environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
* Must be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day
* An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
* Ability to be available to work across a 7 day rotating roster
* Forklift Licence and MR Truck Licence not essential but highly advantageous
