This role supports the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while contributing to our broader goals of growing revenue above market, maximising assets, and driving business transformation. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‐quality food and beverage service with strong product knowledge.
* Supervise daily buffet breakfast service.
* Ensure food quality, presentation and timely replenishment.
* Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Coordinate between service and kitchen teams.
* Handle guest requests and complaints.
* Ensure correct setup and breakdown of breakfast areas.
* Oversee conference and events setup according to event orders.
* Review function sheets/BEOs and communicate requirements to team.
* Ensure AV equipment and seating layouts are ready.
* Coordinate meet and greets with clients, event planners and internal departments.
* Supervise service during events (tea, coffee, lunches and breakouts).
* Troubleshoot issues in real time during events.
* Support, train, and supervise junior team members.
* Manage rosters, timesheets, and daily service operations.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
* Follow all WH&S, cashiering, and operational procedures.
* Complete opening/closing duties and assist other outlets when required.
Skills & Experience
Strong guest service focus and professional presentation. Attention to detail and sound understanding of the guests needs. A background in conference and events preferred. Solid food and beverage knowledge, including drink preparation and barista trained. Experience supervising or training staff. Clean, tidy and well organised.
