About you
* Experience supporting individuals with mental health, disability, or complex needs
* Compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently
* Reliable, flexible, and committed to providing high-quality care
* Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Full NSW driver's licence required
About the role
* Providing emotional support to individuals and their families
* Assisting with daily living activities, including meal preparation
* Supporting clients to develop life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and managing appointments
* Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests, and community activities
* Transporting and accompanying clients to appointments and social outings
* Monitoring wellbeing and supporting individual healthcare needs
* Adapting communication styles to meet each individual's needs, including non-verbal communication
* Working collaboratively with families and other professionals (e.g. healthcare providers, therapists)
* Supporting individuals to build independence, confidence, and social connections
* Acting as a positive role model and building meaningful, supportive relationships

Experience:
* Support Worker: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Australian National Police Check (Preferred)
* First Aid Certificate (Preferred)
* Working With Children Check (WWCC) (Preferred)
* NDIS Worker's Check (Preferred)
* CERT III or IV in Individual Support or relevant (Preferred)
* NSW Driver's License (Preferred)
