Your opportunity
The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is seeking a skilled Digital Designer to help migrate and improve existing online course content across our learning environments. You'll work with educators and digital learning specialists to build interactive, engaging content. Your core responsibilities will include:
Translating and transitioning existing course materials into a new Learning Management System (LMS) environment (Blackboard Ultra) using tools like H5P and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Designing and building interactive, accessible digital learning resources, working closely with faculty and College staff and the Educational Designers team.
Supporting the Centre for Teaching and Learning with quality assurance and design advice, while liaising with academics and project teams to enhance student learning outcomes.
Applying Universal Design for Learning principles (UDL) to enhance student engagement and progression.
What you will bring
You're a digital design professional with a strong foundation in instructional design and a passion for creating engaging, student-centred learning experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments and know how to work creatively within the boundaries of a LMS, balancing innovation with practicality, enjoying the challenge of transforming complex content into clear, accessible online materials that support student success.
To succeed in this role, you will also need:
A relevant qualification and experience developing learning resources in a tertiary education setting, or equivalent.
Skilled in using multimedia and educational technologies, with a sound understanding of online design and learning principles.
Strong attention to detail and familiarity with quality assurance practices in higher education.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and support enhancements to learning content.
A positive, proactive attitude and experience with interactive learning tools.

Your opportunity is:
Full-time, fixed term (10 months)
Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480.
HEW Level 5. The base salary ranges from $83,563 - $92,857 per annum, plus 17% employer's contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $108,643.
