About Your Role
As part of our Vehicles and Tactical Systems business, our Protected Vehicles team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. We are very proud of everything we do in support of both the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms as we all work together towards our purpose in "Building A Future We Can All Trust".
We currently have an opportunity open for a HSE Advisor at the Services and Support, Eagle Farm site. Reporting to the HSE Manager, this role will assist in providing advice, leadership, hands-on support and administration to assist in the improvement, promotion and education of HSE and regulatory compliance on multiple S&S sites. Deliverables will include establishing a desirable HSE culture, reducing risks, compliance and contributing to a professional and effective HSE team/system. This role has significant administration and systems management responsibilities so good written communication and computer skills are essential.
About You
* You must have completed certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety and have a genuine passion and interest in this field.
* You are comfortable interacting with employees at all level of the business from shop floor to management.
* You have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
* You are proactive, communicate well and have the ability to motivate and influence others.
* Solid computer skills and proficient in Excel & Microsoft office.
* Good written and verbal communication.
