Overview

KAVIRA IT – we do boring things for interesting people - is a values-driven cyber-security focused MSP start-up based in Melbourne with staff sprinkled across the outer suburbs and NSW. The name "KAVIRA" is derived from the Sanskrit word for "someone with deep knowledge and insight," which reflects our commitment to providing knowledgeable, insightful, and comprehensive IT and cyber-security solutions to tech companies, professional services and Not-for-profits.

Marketing Aside

We’re a Cybersecurity first company with a heavy focus on Microsoft 365 and some GSuite/AWS/MacOS thrown in to keep you guessing. Our tech stack looks something like:

- Various cyber tools
- Misc. Networking Hardware (Unifi focus)
- Google Workspace and MacOS (Kandji)

Our solutions are very focused on secure outcomes through cloud-based systems, removing technical debt, and on-prem infrastructure, and industry best practice such as CIS Controls, NIST, and ISO 27001. (Got the buzz words in!). We also do GRC – Google it before bed...insomnia cured.

Responsibilities

Ok - What’s the job?

We’re seeking an individual to join our (currently) small tech team, with a focus on ticketing and low-touch project deliverables. You’ll be the front-line contact for incoming tickets, calls and onsite visits, though you’ll have the opportunity to work on larger projects as well.

Responsibilities include:

- Handle ticketing and entry for support requests
- Assist with small project deliverables and participate in larger projects as needed

Qualifications

Ideal candidate

- Self-motivated with a passion for Tech
- Knowledgeable within the Microsoft and Google Workspace ecosystem (and beyond!)
- Process oriented and punctual
- Experienced in the MSP world
- Passionate about helping people and customer service
