The Position
Mutiple opportunities available - 9 hours per week
To provide excellent customer service to Albury Airport customers and assist in the efficient operation of the cafe, bar and terminal facility.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Assist customers with sales/purchases required in a friendly and courteous manner
* Provide a high level of hospitality expertise in food and beverage handling and presentation
* Operate POS registers for Cafe and Bar sales, including reconciliation, daily banking, eftpos and change bags
* Cleaning in the following areas:
* foyer table/chairs, lounge areas, bench tops, cafe, bar and store
* all equipment used for food cooking and presentation ie; coffee maker, salad bar, grilles, toasters, microwave, pie warmer, deep fryer and range hood filters
* floor areas in bar, cafe, cool room and when necessary cafe service areas
* refrigerators, counter top and fronts, bench, cool room interior, bar fridge doors, shelves and glassware
Qualifications and experience
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
* Experience in the hospitality industry
* Expreeince supervising a small team
* Experience in a customer focused environment including cash handling
Hours
Hours of work will be based on a 38 hour week, working 9 hours per week with actual days and times will be in accordance with the 7 day/week facility roster Airport Cafe operational hours are generally 5.15am - 6:30pm
