We are seeking a skilled volunteer to take on the role of Art Gallery Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to contribute to the success of our organisation, working closely with artists and community members.
* Develop and implement exhibition plans, ensuring timely execution and high-quality results.
* Collaborate with artists to curate exhibitions, facilitate artist engagement, and promote their work.
* Create engaging marketing materials, including artist statements, flyers, and price lists.
* Organise exhibition openings and events, fostering a sense of community and connection among attendees.
* Identify and resource exhibiting artists, developing relationships that benefit all parties involved.
* Utilize effective marketing strategies to promote exhibitions and develop strong relationships with artists and clients.
This role is suitable for dedicated volunteers who can commit to regular contributions (more than 6 months) and dedicate at least 2 hours per week to this position.
