About us 
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Children’s Centre Cook to join an experienced team in a welcoming and small council operated long day care centre that provides quality Education and Care in a nurturing and supportive environment for children aged up to 6 years. 
Qualifications & experience 
- Food Handling Supervisors Certificate 
- Certificate level qualifications in hospitality or relevant equivalent work experience 
- NSW Working With Children Clearance 
Tasks & responsibilities 
- To plan and prepare a nutritionally appropriate menu, in consultation with the Service Coordinator for children attending the centre within the centre’s budget 
- Maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness in accordance with statutory requirements 
- Manage stock ordering and control 
Hours 
Based on a 38 hour week, working 30 hours a week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 2.00pm; hours can be negotiable, with no RDO
