About the Role

This role plays a key part in the IT business team, focusing on the technical and integration side of things. You'll be helping to support our applications and manage data across the organization. Essentially, you'll be bringing your technical know-how to tackle problems, manage changes, and contribute to various projects.

We're looking for someone who can spot opportunities, suggest improvements, and help implement solutions that make a real difference. You'll have the chance to lead or be a part of exciting projects, including integration initiatives, artificial intelligence explorations, and process enhancements. Demonstrating strong project management skills will be a big plus.

This role will have a specialty in integration skills, through API development, scripting and applications, such as but not limited to; PowerShell, Python, Postman, Jitterbit and Azure functions.

This is a full-time role is based in Lonsdale.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with IT, stakeholders, business users, and vendors to define integration needs, design effective solutions, and manage their implementation.
- Ensure system integration solutions align with industry best practices.
- Document and clearly communicate technical requirements, including comprehensive "as-built" documentation.
- Translate complex business needs into simplified, actionable technical specifications.
- Provide expert recommendations based on project requirements and build robust API technologies using RESTful or SOAP principles, along with SOA design principles.

Technical Support & Maintenance

- Administer helpdesk applications to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain integration products to guarantee optimal function and ongoing reliability.
- Produce detailed project and service delivery documentation, including architecture designs, "as-built" documentation, and operating procedures.
- Lead or actively participate in relevant projects, taking ownership of key technical aspects.
- Create detailed work breakdowns, define tasks, and accurately estimate effort for project schedules.
- Proactively identify opportunities within the organization for cost reduction, efficiency gains, risk mitigation, or revenue enhancement.

Who We're Looking For

Knowledge & Qualifications:

- Recognized qualifications in integration administration, data analytics, business intelligence, or information technology. We value practical experience and recognized skills, which may be considered in lieu of tertiary education.

Technical Expertise & Experience:

- Integration Expertise: Proficient in Azure, Jitterbit, Boomi, Python, PowerShell, Postman, SOAP, and GIT.
- Business & Project Acumen: Skilled in business case evaluations, cost/benefit analyses, and project management.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written/verbal communication, strong technical writing for integration documentation, and proven success in fast-paced IT environments.

Desirable

- Familiarity with the Pronto ERP system.
- Experience within the Manufacturing industry.
