About this opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Civil Rehabilitation Projects Manager. This role, working under broad direction, will oversee all Disaster Restoration Funding Arrangements (DRFA) event claims, strategic resilience projects, and funding applications. Additionally, you will manage the quarry operations rehabilitation program.
Reporting to the Executive Manager of Civil Operations, this position is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects and programs. You will ensure these projects meet agreed criteria, adhering to commercially competitive standards for safety, cost, timeliness, quality, scope, and customer satisfaction, in alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* QLD "C" Class Drivers Licence
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or an equivalent relevant qualification, along with extensive relevant experience.
* Membership in a Project Management professional body such as the Project Management Institute or another relevant industry association (highly desirable).
* Significant experience as a project manager, with demonstrated expertise in handling high-value, highly complex civil construction projects, with a focus on quarries and rehabilitation.
* Substantial experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
* Substantial experience in supervising staff, and managing consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
