About the role:
We are seeking an OT / EP / Physio to join our Canberra team to support a Multidisciplinary team, volunteers and swim instructors to provide professional input into supporting the people we work with. The role has fixed and flexible hours. Hours and locations vary on day - with shifts on weekday afternoons and Saturday. Fixed shifts will be in the pool working in a direct client contact role, while flexible hours are for administrative purposes.
The role requires you to love water, swimming and being actively involved with supporting children (in a 1:1 capacity) in the pool by using hydrotherapy, play therapy and physical movement to build their water safety and physical literacy.
You will have an opportunity to work in:
* Assessment
* NDIS reporting
* In pool programs including hydrotherapy, learn to swim, aqua yoga/aerobics programming
* One on one or small groups
* Sensory integration and /or water familiarisation

The Candidate We Are Seeking:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy
* Registration with ESSA or AHPRA
* Relevant industry experience is desirable but not essential
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Flexible and approachable
* Excellent report writing skills
* National Police Check and Working With Children Check
* Current First Aid/CPR or able to obtain
* Professional indemnity Insurance
