Key Responsibilities
As the Food and Beverage Manager at Mercure Darwin Airport Resort & Novotel Darwin Airport Hotel, you will oversee the smooth operation of food and beverage services across multiple outlets.
Your primary focus will be to ensure exceptional customer experiences, drive sales growth, and maintain high standards of service quality.
* Manage daily F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, conferences, and outside catering.
* Liaise with the Conference & Banqueting team to understand event requirements and preferences.
* Develop and implement effective menu strategies to increase sales and promote revenue growth.
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus, dietary requirements, allergens, beverages, and wine lists to provide expert recommendations to guests.
* Sustain a positive work environment by fostering open communication, employee development, and recognition programs.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
* Possess at least 2 years of leadership experience in a food and beverage outlet.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of beverages, including beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
* Showcase proven ability to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
* Familiarity with Micros system is an advantage.
