About the Role
We are looking for a hands‐on supervisor to lead the Fabrication & Robotics team, ensuring CNC and robotic welding programming and machine operations are planned and executed to meet quality, safety and production targets. The role requires technical leadership, mentoring, hands‐on support, protected work practice promotion, and day‐to‐day resource and performance management.
Responsibilities
* Ensure adherence to OH&S; and company safety policies, actively promoting safety leadership.
* Manage and supervise the running of CAM programs with corresponding CNC machines and robotic welders.
* Plan and allocate tasks, control consumables, and approve requisitions within authority limits.
* Provide technical coaching, training and development in CNC & robotic welding best practices.
* Implement and maintain quality management requirements (Hofmann Quality Management System / ISO9001).
* Lead team meetings, facilitate lean initiatives and liaise with shop floor and group management.
* Support environmental compliance and continuous improvement activities.
Skills and Qualifications
* Trades or academic qualification with relevant fabrication and robotics experience.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a fabrication‐based supervisory role.
* Demonstrated knowledge of OHS requirements, quality standards and legal obligations.
* Solid organisational, team leadership and communication skills.
* Commitment to safety, problem solving, flexibility and a robust work ethic.
