Job Opportunity:
CQUniversity's School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences is seeking a distinguished academic to support the growth and development of our Safety Sciences programs. The role involves delivering and developing curriculum across multiple study levels, conducting research in safety sciences, and engaging with industry stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
* Teach and supervise students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes.
* Develop and review curriculum using innovative digital and multimodal approaches, catering to diverse learner needs.
* Conduct impactful research in safety sciences and integrate findings into teaching practices.
* Foster partnerships with industry experts to enhance applied learning and research opportunities.
* Contribute to CQUniversity's renowned Safety Sciences programs, including Occupational Health & Safety and Fatigue Risk Management.
Required Qualifications:
* Lecturer (Level B): Completed postgraduate qualification in Safety Sciences or a related field, senior-level industry experience in Safety Sciences, expertise in risk management, safety systems, or Occupational Health and Safety law, proven ability to teach and supervise at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
* Senior Lecturer (Level C): PhD in Safety Sciences or a closely related discipline, proven team-leadership experience, expertise in creating engaging teaching resources and fostering collaboration with industry and community partners.
