About the role: The Transfer and Promotion Unit are currently seeking interest for a 15 month opportunity for a VPSG-4 – Recruitment Consultant. The Transfer and Promotion Unit (TPU) convene Victoria Police member selection panels from the rank of Constable/Senior Constable through to Commander, servicing all Regions, Departments, and Commands. Recruitment Consultants are responsible for managing recruitment services for all sworn transfer and promotions processes, facilitating merit-based selection processes for the transfer and promotion of Police members in accordance with the Victoria Police Act 2013 (VPA), the Victoria Police Regulations 2014 (VP Regs), and the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2024. TPU oversight guarantees standardisation in advertising, shortlisting, and interviewing, and ensures selections are conducted using best practice, and with transparency and accountability. Your duties will include: * Managing and coordinating the internal end to end transfer and recruiting function to a high standard. * Preparing a range of reports and written material. * Ensuring databases and records are maintained. * Maintaining effective stakeholder relationships. About You: The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: * Highly developed communication, consultative and presentation skills. * Ability to work collaboratively, independently, and effectively in partnerships. * Attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines. * Ability to conduct end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
