This is your chance to step into a pivotal role where you'll be the go‑to person for safety – guiding, coaching, and working hand‑in‑hand with our people and leaders to ensure everyone goes home safe, every day.

What You'll Be Doing

* Champion a positive safety culture and bring safety to life across the site.
* Support teams to identify hazards and risks, and make sure the right controls are in place.
* Provide practical advice on WHS legislation and best practice.
* Drive continuous improvements in safety performance and lead indicators.
* Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
* Maintain registers for hazardous substances, dangerous goods, and equipment.
* Investigate incidents and near misses, finding ways to prevent them happening again.
* Support Safety Committee meetings and engage with Health & Safety Representatives.

Why Join Us?

* A role with clear purpose and influence — you'll really make a difference
* Relocation assistance package upon application
* On‑the‑job training and mentoring — learn from experienced leaders while building your capability
* Exposure to diverse operational environments and real growth opportunities
* Attractive Company Rewards

Paid Parental leave

* Salary packaging benefits
* Discounts (meat products onsite, health insurance, retail and novated car leasing options)
* Other perks tailored to your role

What We're Looking For

* A Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety or willing to obtain if successful.
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, codes, and standards.
* Experience in a similar role (experience in food manufacturing is an advantage).
* Confidence in leading or supporting incident investigations (ICAM, STAMP, CAST or equivalent).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to connect with all levels of the workforce.
* Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.

If you're ready to take ownership of safety, influence positive change, and make your mark in a supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you.
