Transformative Technology Lead
We are seeking a forward-thinking leader to drive technology and architecture standards across government.
As a thought leader, you will advise agencies on how to break down big digital programs into manageable parts and create standards for platform reuse, legacy technology reduction, and emerging technologies.
You will collaborate with partner agencies and customers to understand strategic problems and develop actionable insights. Your contributions will shape seamless customer experiences, increased public servant efficiencies, and industry productivity.
The ideal candidate has strong consulting skills, is motivated by continuous challenges, and can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people. You should be passionate about technology, have a deep understanding of architecture, and be able to drive outcomes that extend beyond individual agencies.

* Create, implement, and measure standards for platform reuse, legacy technology elimination, and emerging technologies

* Contribute to strategies and roadmaps for seamless customer experiences, enhanced public servant effectiveness, and industry efficiency
About Our Team
The Digital Strategy, Investment and Assurance team works across the NSW Government to drive digital and ICT strategy, alignment, planning, prioritization, and investment.
We play a pivotal role in driving digital strategy and alignment to improve customer outcomes, reduce legacy systems, and drive adoption of common assets.
We deliver independent oversight of NSW Government ICT and digital projects, including reviews and periodic health checks at key points in a project's lifecycle.
We also transform the way government works to solve problems through the Digital Design Toolkit, Design Standards, and Design System, making it easier for teams to build and deliver great digital services.
