Centacare is seeking a passionate and experienced Service Leader to join our Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS) team. This is a unique opportunity to lead service delivery that empowers individuals to live independently, reduce social isolation, and connect meaningfully with their communities.
About the Role
As a QCSS Service Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating support services across a designated catchment area. You will work autonomously in the field while remaining connected to a remote, collaborative team. Your leadership will ensure high-quality, person-centred support that aligns with QCSS principles of wellness, enablement, and capacity building.
You will be responsible for:
* Leading and supervising support workers to deliver safe, responsive, and goal-oriented services.
* Embedding best practice frameworks such as Active Support and Wellness & Enablement.
* Managing service delivery, compliance, and quality assurance in line with QCSS guidelines.
* Facilitating support planning and reviews that promote independence and community connection.
* Building strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders.
* Ensuring services are delivered within funding parameters and legislative requirements.
What You'll Bring:
* Diploma in Community Services, Disability, or equivalent experience.
* Proven leadership in human services, ideally within aged care, disability, or mental health.
* Strong understanding of QCSS service delivery principles and funding guidelines.
* Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive remote team.
* Current Driver's Licence, Blue Card, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Essential requirements for the role:
* Have a current Blue Card – or be eligible to apply;
* Have a current driver's licence;
* Provide a current Australian Federal Police Criminal History Check or successfully pass one;
* Have working rights in Australia
