Responsibilities
We are seeking an organized and customer-centric individual to join us as a Hearing Care Assistant at Audika Rosny Park Clinic. This part-time role involves working 7 days per fortnight (Monday - Friday in week 1, Monday and Friday in week 2). If you are passionate about helping clients enhance their hearing and quality of life, keep reading This role is essential in contributing to clinic performance and enhancing customer experience.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, process-oriented, and purpose-driven, with excellent organizational and customer service skills to help more people access better hearing solutions.
You will collaborate with Clinicians and Clinic Coordinators to deliver quality hearing healthcare outcomes. You will learn about our products, services, competitive advantages, and government funding programs. Your support during hearing appointments will include video otoscopy, tympanometry, equipment placement for air and bone conduction, and speech testing.
You will facilitate device demonstrations and tests, manage equipment and IT for video conferencing, and assist with hearing aid fitting, minor repairs, and troubleshooting. Applying your knowledge, skills, and tools, you will implement tailored client-specific sales strategies to ensure optimal solutions.
Qualifications for Success
* Previous sales and/or customer service experience in hearing care services, pharmacy, or allied health
* Experience working with an older demographic (preferred)
* Strong interpersonal communication skills and empathy for clients
* Higher School Certificate (HSC) or TAFE Qualification
* Advanced computer skills
