Venue Manager – Everton Park Hotel (Brisbane)
Everton Park Hotel is a dynamic, multi-offer venue on Brisbane's north side featuring a Beer Garden, TAB facilities, a modern gaming room, and refreshed motel-style accommodation. As Venue Manager, you will own day-to-day operations across this multifaceted venue, lead from the front, develop a strong leadership team, and drive exceptional standards across service, compliance, and performance. We are seeking a proven operator with experience in large-capacity venues, a passion for people leadership, and the ability to build and nurture high-performing management teams.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of day-to-day operations across a multifaceted venue.
* Lead from the front and inspire a strong leadership team.
* Drive exceptional standards across service, compliance, and performance.
* Build and nurture high-performing management teams.
* Ensure effective rostering, stock control, and stock loss investigations as required.
* Engage with all departments within the Head Office team and communicate effectively.
* Understand and learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
* Analyse financials with a P&L focus to identify opportunities for growth.
* Generate revenue-building ideas across all aspects of the business.
* Maintain a presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends.
* Implement and execute promotions successfully across the business.
* Write and control an effective roster.
* Stocktake and investigate stock loss as needed.
* Monitor market trends relevant to food and beverage in the area.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of Venue Management experience.
* Proven experience managing a large food and beverage–focused venue.
* P&L understanding with ability to deep dive into financials to identify growth opportunities.
* Strong people leadership and ability to build high-performing teams.
* Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends.
* RLMV, Approved Managers License, Gaming Nominee & CLO are a must.
